Description:

Six figural paintings by Philadelphia artist and illusrtator Robert H Ransley, best known for his 1920s-era Saturday Evening Post covers. These are all late works, paintings of young, attractive women. Four are oil on homosote, one is oil on paper mounted on cardboard and one oil on canvas. All initialed RR and numbered. The four on board are 16" X 20", the one on paper is 10" X 12" and the oil on canvas is 16" X 20".

  • Condition: Light to moderate wear, some small paint losses. The piece of corrogated cardboard the painting on paper is mounted on is delaminating.
